Nebraska is one of the newer songs on the record and features a great whammy pedal lick which I can not play anymore. I forgot how it worked right after recording which is kind of tragic. I tuned down the drums for this and hihat became snare and snare became bass drum...it was quite an operation. The title refers to the wide open landscape which leaves people alone - wether it's "glad, finally I am alone!" or "oh my god I will die out here".
